These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Earlybyte Navbar website and the Carrd Navbar Builder application operated by Earlybyte GmbH.
By accessing or using the website or Carrd Navbar Builder, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
The Carrd Navbar Builder is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Carrd.

Services
Earlybyte GmbH provides:
- the Earlybyte Navbar product
- the Carrd Navbar Builder application
- navbar generation and export functionality
- subscription-based and one-time purchase access plans
The services and features provided may change over time.
Eligibility
The services are intended for users who are legally capable of entering into binding contracts. If you are a minor under the laws applicable to you, you may use the services only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
Accounts & Access
Some parts of the Carrd Navbar Builder require a registered user account.
Users are responsible for:
- maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials
- activities performed through their account
- ensuring that account information remains accurate
Earlybyte GmbH reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts in cases of abuse, unlawful usage, or violations of these Terms.
Plans, Billing & Subscriptions
The Carrd Navbar Builder may offer free, subscription-based, and one-time purchase plans.
Subscription Plans
- Subscription plans renew automatically through Stripe unless cancelled.
- Users can cancel subscriptions through the account or billing area provided in the application, or by contacting Earlybyte GmbH at info@earlybyte.ch if self-service cancellation is not available.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- After cancellation, accounts may fall back to the free plan and its associated limitations.
- Pricing and plan features may change at any time.
One-Time Purchases
One-time purchases grant access to the purchased plan features available at the time of purchase and may include compatible updates to those features. They do not guarantee access to future products, separate paid add-ons, new plan tiers, or services that are sold separately.
Taxes & VAT
Prices may be shown inclusive or exclusive of VAT, sales tax, or similar taxes depending on the checkout presentation, customer location, and applicable law. Taxes, including VAT where applicable, are calculated and collected through Stripe during checkout.
Earlybyte GmbH reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or replace plans and features at any time.
Payments
Payments are processed through Stripe.
By purchasing a subscription or product, you agree to Stripe’s applicable terms and payment handling procedures.
Payment card information is processed directly by Stripe and is never stored on Earlybyte GmbH infrastructure.
Refunds
Due to the nature of digital products and services, purchases are generally non-refundable once access has been provided or the service has been used.
Requests may be reviewed individually at the sole discretion of Earlybyte GmbH. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights or refund rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Account Deletion
Users may request or initiate account deletion where this feature is available.
Account deletion may remove local application records, saved navbars, active sessions, entitlement records, and local subscription records. Account deletion does not automatically delete records that must be retained for legal, tax, VAT, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or payment compliance purposes, including records retained by Stripe or other payment providers.
License & Usage Rights
Customers are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use generated navbar snippets and exported code for:
- personal projects
- commercial projects
- client projects
Generated navbar snippets may be modified and adapted to fit individual needs.
The following is prohibited:
- resale of the Earlybyte Navbar product or builder
- redistribution of the original product files
- reselling generated templates as standalone competing products
- sharing paid access with unauthorized third parties
Intellectual Property
The Carrd Navbar Builder application, website, branding, and related infrastructure remain the intellectual property of Earlybyte GmbH.
Generated navbar snippets exported by users remain under the control of the respective customer, subject to these Terms and Conditions.
Availability & Feature Changes
Earlybyte GmbH does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the website or Carrd Navbar Builder.
Features, pricing, plans, integrations, and functionality may change, be modified, or be discontinued at any time without prior notice.
Support
Support is provided on a best-effort basis for the Carrd Navbar Builder application.
Support does not include:
- custom Carrd implementations
- third-party modifications
- custom coding assistance
- debugging unrelated Carrd projects
No guaranteed response times or support availability are provided.
User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for:
- properly implementing exported navbar snippets
- testing generated code before production use
- ensuring compatibility with their own Carrd projects and environments
- complying with applicable laws and regulations
Users are responsible for content, links, and configurations created through the builder.
Prohibited Usage
Users may not:
- reverse engineer the application
- scrape or automate unauthorized data extraction
- abuse or interfere with the platform
- attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts
- use the services for unlawful purposes
Earlybyte GmbH reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these rules.
Limitation of Liability
The website, Carrd Navbar Builder, and generated code are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
Earlybyte GmbH does not guarantee:
- uninterrupted availability
- permanent compatibility with Carrd or third-party platforms
- error-free functionality
- fitness for a specific purpose
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Earlybyte GmbH shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the services or generated code.
Third-Party Services
The Carrd Navbar Builder may rely on third-party providers including:
- Stripe
- Supabase
- Mailjet
- Hetzner
- Google Analytics
- Infomaniak
- Carrd
- Google Fonts
Earlybyte GmbH is not responsible for outages, policy changes, or issues caused by third-party services.
Changes to These Terms
Earlybyte GmbH may update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
The latest published version on the website shall apply.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Swiss law.
The place of jurisdiction is Winterthur, Switzerland, unless mandatory legal provisions require otherwise.
